Professor Mimi Zweig, professor of violin and violin pedagogy of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music was recognized as the 2011 IMTA Teacher of the Year at the IMTA State Conference held in the Fall of 2011. Mimi is the founding director of the Indiana University String Academy, one of the foremost pre-college programs in the United States.
